Before you join

Do Vega Coins have cash value?

No. Vega Coins are reward points with no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred as money or exchanged for cash, and can only be redeemed for goods or services at member businesses. Vega Circle is a loyalty programme, not a prepaid payment instrument or wallet under RBI PPI rules.

How does a customer get a wallet?

With their phone number and a one-time OTP at vegacoins, the customer side of Vega Circle. The OTP step records their consent as required by the DPDP Act. No app download is needed.

Can other businesses see my customers?

No. Data is isolated per business. Other members only see redemptions made at their own counter.

How is the settlement fee charged?

When a customer redeems coins at your business, the circle settles that value to you minus a 2–3% settlement fee. There is no fee on coins you issue.

How do referral commissions work?

Post a lead on the referral board (Growth and Pro). When another member converts it, you earn the commission they set for that lead.

Do I need a website or billing software?

No. The QR + merchant app works on any smartphone. The JS widget and REST API are there if you want to connect a website or POS.
